Our Purpose

Who We Are

Mulhurst operates year long to provide impactful programs, camps, retreats, and opportunities for all. We are excited to expand our Community and would be blessed to have you join our community.

While our roots are in the Lutheran Church, we have no requirements or expectations for people to become Lutheran or Christian. We’re passionate about sharing our beautiful scenery and campgrounds with people from all walks of life, helping people from around Canada enjoy a break from day-to-day life surrounded by nature.

Our Beliefs

At Mulhurst Camp, we believe:

  • The camp experience provides an opportunity for our campers to grow physically, mentally, socially, emotionally and spiritually.

  • Campers should have a safe and fun outdoor environment where they can experience a variety of activities in nature without the distractions of cell phones and social media.

  • Campers should have the opportunity to learn new crafts, sports, songs, games, water sports, and develop leadership and collaborative skills and team spirit.

  • Each camper is unique in their interests, abilities and backgrounds and that these differences should be respected and celebrated.

  • Each camper should be given the opportunity to develop confidence in themselves so they grow as distinct individuals.

  • Camp should be a welcoming and inclusive environment for all campers and staff

  • Campers need varied, well-balanced, nutritious and pleasingly served food prepared by qualified food personnel.

  • The camping environment allows young people to explore their faith and their relationship with God in a safe place, free from ridicule and judgment.

  • Camp staff is to be trained well and led by highly qualified camp directors and summer leaders.
