Summer 2024 Programming
Summer Programs at Mulhurst have been happening for the last 75 years. Children and families from all over Alberta come and take part in our programming planned by an energetic seasonal staff team. Our programming is inclusive for everyone.​ From slip 'n' sliding, canoeing & kayaking, collaborative team based games, skits, songs, nature exploration to spending time playing sports, crafting, campfire & and more! We want to be a part of your summer plans at your favourite Place in the Son!​​
July 7- 12
Sr. High Camp & LIT Camp (completed grades 8 - 12)
$445* + GST
*Price increases by $25 after June 23
Previously “LIT Camp,” this camp is back and better than ever as Sr. High Camp! All youth (completed grade 8) are welcome to join us for a week at the lake making new friends, playing games, canoeing, crafting, spending time by the campfire, and exploring their faith in an inclusive and supportive community. Each day, new leadership topics will be covered which will help prepare campers for volunteer opportunities at camp this summer as a LIT, and beyond. This program is a prerequisite to be a LIT (Leader in Training/ Jr. Camp Counselor) at Mulhurst this summer, and all successful participants will receive a leadership certificate at the end of the week. Even if you don’t want to volunteer at camp this summer, this camp is still for you! Come hang out with friends your age; the leadership skills you will learn are transferable to school, church, work, and beyond. A great leadership opportunity to add to your resume!

*Upon completion of Senior High Camp, we will work with those interested in volunteering as LITs to assign volunteer opportunities that work with your summer schedule. We are so thankful to everyone wishing to volunteer, but can not guarantee any volunteer hours until the completion of Senior High Camp and the Leadership Training offered.
July 14 - 19
Kids Overnight Camp (completed grades 1 - 6)
$425* + GST
*Price increases by $25 after June 30

This is a 5 night (Sunday-Friday) camp for children who have completed Grades 1 - 6. Join us for a week at the lake spending time outdoors, making new friends, playing games, singing songs by the campfire, and more! You’ll enjoy swimming (lifeguard on duty), canoeing, crafting, interactive Bible studies, sports, our giant slip n’ slide, and staying in one of our cabins along with your fellow cabin mates and camp counselor!
July 14 - 19
Kids Day Camp (completed kindergarten - grade 6)
$75/ day or $350 full 5 days + GST

This is a Monday - Friday day camp. Join us for a day full of fun, games, interactive Bible studies, crafts, slip n’ slide, and more at the lake! Enjoy all the amazing parts of Mulhurst, while still getting to return home each night. A perfect camp for those who live near-by, are camping in our campground, or for campers not quite ready to stay the night yet! Lunch is included in the price. Register for the whole week or pay per day. Any campers who have not yet completed kindergarten must have a parent supervisor accompany them for the day.
July 21 - 26
Jr. Youth Camp (completed grades 4 - 10)
$445* + GST *Price increases by $25 after July 7

Calling all tweens and younger teens! This is a 5 night, Sunday - Friday camp for youth. Join us for a week of fun activities and games at the lake, where you’ll have the opportunity to learn more about yourself and your faith in a supportive and inclusive community. Highlights include slip n’ slide, canoeing, mission impossible, campfires, yummy food, and more! Enjoy an unplugged week, staying in our cabins, learning new skills, having tons of fun, and making new friends!
July 28 - July 31 Family Camp
Adults: full stay $225 or $80/night (24 hours)
Youth 10 - 18: full stay $175 or $60/ night (24 hours)
Kids 4 - 9: full stay $120 or $45/night (24 hours)
0- 3 year olds free.

Tell your family, tell your friends! Family Camp is back by popular demand! Come out for three nights (Sunday-Wednesday) to enjoy Mulhurst’s beautiful setting on the lakefront. Enjoy great meals prepared for you, activities for the kids, conversation time for the adults, swimming and canoeing at the lake, crafts, campfire sing-alongs, daily devotions, board game nights, and more. There’s something for everyone at family camp!
Register per night (maximum 24 hour stay) or stay for the whole camp and save. All family configurations are welcome: Cousins, grandparents, friends, single parent families, etc. Come on your own, bring your friends, or bring your family.

Note: All family configurations must have at least one adult over 21; families wishing to register only their children should register for one of our other camp programs.
July 31-August 2
2 Night Mini Camp (completed kindergarten-grade 4) $175* + GST

2-night Mini Camp is perfect for our littlest campers who are ready to dip their toe into an overnight stay at camp. Enjoy all the fun things about camp and the excitement of staying overnight in a cabin without getting homesick. Crafts, games, Bible study, songs, sports, canoeing, yummy food, slip n’ slide - we have it all!
August 5 - 9
4 Night Kids Camp (completed grade 1-grade 6)
$350* + GST
*Price increases by $25 after July 22

This is a 4 night, Monday - Friday camp for children who have completed grades 1 - 6. Join us for a week at the lake spending time outdoors, making new friends, playing games, singing songs by the campfire, and more! August 6 - 9
